Liz turns eight!

This post is kinda old. Liz is a leap year baby and so she finally had her actual real 8th birthday on February 29th! We decided to throw her a birthday party fit for an eight year old and it was awesome. We got a bounce house for the day, ate hot dogs, and made cotton candy. The upside of all the little kids having hand, foot, and mouth? We all got to play together! So, if you're wondering about all the spots on the kids faces, don't worry, they're all better now, and they got to bounce in a bounce house.
I'd say Pippa and Maggie were in the bounce house the longest, but at the end the bigger kids really loved it.
Charlie never got comfortable enough to actually jump. This kid. Afraid of nothing, and then afraid of everything.

Charlie at Chuck E Cheeses

Chuck E Cheeses has been a favorite of Charlie's since we first went a year and a half ago. He doesn't actually enjoy Chuck E though. Like he is deathly afraid of him. We have to shield him from the mouse at all costs or else he will turn into a nervous wreck, which did happen for the last 10 minutes of his party. But here are some photos from before the mouse, when he was as happy as can be.

Aiden didn't enjoy the ride as much

Charlie did this automatically and I thought it was pretty sweet

Pip's First Birthday Party!!!

We threw a little party for Pip's birthday on the Saturday after Christmas, and on that morning she fell and smacked her face on a coffee pot she was carrying around. As you can see, it was a pretty bad smack. It swelled up right away and she kind of looked like a character from Star Trek :( But she got over it pretty quick and was still our happy little girl. We had a bagel bar and cupcakes for people to snack on and it turned out to be very fun and very low key.
But in all seriousness, I cannot believe that she is one (and a month as I'm writing this!). Since she joined us she has been nothing but a happy, sneaky baby. She is going to be a handful as she gets older, but she'll do it with a bit ol' grin on her face. I'm so excited for this next year because kids just get better with age, but also because 18 months is my favorite stage for babies! and also because I have Saltwater sandals that will fit her :)
Cousin Nora is getting chubbier and cuter every second.
PRESENTS!!!
This was our attempt at a staged group photo, we didn't quite pull off the nonchalant feel we were going for ;)
Ugh, she is the cutest.

Line's Donut Party

Line is four. That is crazy. I love that little girl. She is so fun and crazy and says the absolute best things in the world. Seriously. We celebrated her birthday by having a donut party for her and it was very relaxed and fun.
Yummm...those maple glazed were fantastic.
She decided to open presents as soon as the guests arrived. It actually was pretty great.
Her gigantic donut.
and Daniel needed to be sung to as well.
And at the end of the party the Legos came out.
